- 貝類科名：腹足綱（Gastropoda）的南亞蝸牛科（Camaenidae）。
- 導讀：Ganesella nux是台灣地區特有的蝸牛。Ganesella屬分佈在印度、菲律賓、印尼、幾內亞、台灣及日本。黑田德米對日本產的一屬蝸牛稱作為Satsuma亞屬，產於台灣琉球的這一屬蝸牛則歸為Coniglobus亞屬。Coniglobus亞屬是以台灣產的Coniglobus sphaeroconus作為模式標本設立的。因為這亞屬中的Ganesella nux、Ganesella mellea、Ganesella arisana等種，到現在還沒有發表過其解剖形態，因此本種蝸牛的解剖發表，適時地補足了本亞屬資料，可作為分類學上更有效之依據。本文依據來自7個活標本之解剖及2個破損福馬林固定標本之檢查。生殖系統與同亞屬模式種Coniglobus sphaeroconus及產於琉球的Coniglobus mercatoria及Coniglobus yaeyamaensis大體上相同，所不同的僅有兩點，雄性交接器的突起很小，貯精囊呈梨形。
