Bursidae 蛙螺科:Shell solid, short obese fusiform and dorso-ventrally depressed. Varix on lateral side fused with those of preceding and subsequent whorls. Aperture usually stained in yolloeish to reddish colors. Columellar lip with developed callus and plicae thereupon. Periostracum seldom remained. Operculum horny with centrally situated nucleus. Central tooth of radula with hind cusps. Carnivorous. |
