- 貝類科名：腹足綱（Gastropoda）的煙管蝸牛科（Clausiliidae）。
- 導讀：1988年2月自南台灣的墾丁公園由黎煥台先生16隻煙管蝸牛，因有比中型稍小的外殼及許多特徵而類似屬於南台灣棲生的白口煙管蝸牛Hemiphaedusa similaris。但經解剖後發現許多特徵異於白口煙管蝸牛，所以擬訂本種為紫色白口煙管蝸牛新亞種Hemiphaedusa similaris nigra n. subsp.。目前模式標本(17.7x5.2 mm)收藏於台灣省立博物館，編號為TM-MT9029；副模式標本則由張寬敏先生所收藏。
