- 貝類科名：腹足綱（Gastropoda）的鐘螺科（Trochidae）。
- 導讀：一種鐘螺發現於龜山島海域，經比對其他綠臍鐘螺屬Calliostoma貝類，因異於所有已知種，故擬訂為新種。命名為虛線鐘螺Calliostoma rubroscalptan. sp.。殼中小型，堅固，粉紅色，殼面佈滿紅白相間的念珠狀螺旋紋。殼口方形，外唇薄。臍孔窄或封閉。胚殼白色，表面有蜂窩狀彫刻，有1.5層，殼頂紅色。早期螺層有縱紋。正模式標本 (16.70x14.80 mm) 保存於台灣台北中央研究院動物研究所ASIZ199805。副模式標本 I (12.30x11.25 mm)由李彥錚先生保存G941025-1。副模式標本 II (10.25x8.80 mm) 保存於台灣台中國立自然科學博物館NMNS-3026001。模式產地在台灣東北部龜山島海域，水深約200-250 公尺海底。
