Turbinellidae (Vasidae) 拳螺科: (=Vasidae) Shell biconical, fusiform or conical with long siphonal canal. Outer lip flat without denticle or any process. Siphonal canal open. Operculum chitinous with subterminal nucleus. Radula rachiglossate with 1 paired lateral teeth. Consisted of 5 subfamilies. Intertidal to deepsea of the world. Prey on sipunculus or polychaetous annelids.(=Vasidae) |
