Philinidae 薄泡螺科:Shell thin, mostly internal. Body whorl extremely large. Spire small. Animal much larger than shell, not withdrawal into shell, cylindrical or dorso-ventrally flattened elliptical, with a large cephalic shield. Jaw absent. Radular teeth consisted of a central tooth, a lateral tooth, and none or up to 6 marginal teeth. Gizzard contains 3 calcareous stomachal plates. |
