Character |
The Entemnotrochus rumphii are supposedly one of the most ancient of the Gastropods, being found as far back as the Cambrian era, about five hundred and seventy million to four hundred ninety million years ago. The most enormous population occurred at Mesozoic Era, and almost disappeared at Cenozoic era. In 1968, fishermen in Taiwan began to catch the living Entemnotrochus rumphii around off-shore islands of Taiwan, like Donshan Islands(Pratas), Diaoyutai Islands, and Taiwan Strait sea area. |
