殼為淡紅褐色，螺塔高而肩上有棘，越靠近殼底棘越大，體螺層的大棘下有縱肋，體螺層除大棘外於大棘下方仍有一排小棘，螺層間的交界色深，螺層下方有密集的環狀褶紋，成熟螺殼口有外翻現象。 |
