Costellariidae 蛹筆螺科：殼一般呈紡錘狀或圓筒形。殼表有光澤，大多具有明顯的縱肋。殼口狹長，軸唇有皺襞。水管溝狹長。沒有口蓋。齒舌尖舌型具單尖側齒。分布於熱帶到溫帶淺海，具高度多樣性。
